Irving O. Tarbox Editor Hard Times for this NEWSPAPER It's been hard times for newspapers all over the country, and The Prater's Creek Gazette has been hit hard. I mean, how much did you pay for this paper? Hmm, that's what I thought. It's gotten so bad I've had to take a job at a textile mill and they have put me on a 12 hour shift, and I ain't hardly got time to write anymore. Grandpa, who has helped me throughout the years is so in love, it's all he can do to squeeze in Drover gigs between squeezing his girlfriend Stephanie (see Sports). Is this the end of the Gazette? Well, it's up to you, the reader, to save this paper. If we can get 100 emails through The Drovers Old Time Medicine Show's website (hint, you're already on it) asking us not to fold like so many other newspapers have had to do, we will continue to bring you all the news that gives you fits. If not, then we'll go ahead and wish you a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, a great Easter, and a Happy Fourth of July. Letters To The Editor Dear Editor, I think your newspaper is great, but you need to have some cartoons. Tom Hunt Dear Editor,
You need to get your priorities in
order, The Gazette is a way of life to so many
people here in Prater's Creek. YoooooooU need to tell Grandpa to get his
priorities in order. They should be The Drovers Old
Time Medicine Show first, The Gazette second, and then Girl friend
third. Sorry
Stephanie but that's the way it should be here in Prater's
Creek. Grandpa should be able to juggle all three and help Irving O. Tarbox
with the Gazette.
